Taylor Lindsey has started construction of a new industrial /warehouse scheme on its Teal Park Development in Lincoln.

The eight unit scheme is prominently positioned on Teal Park Road which is the main link to Whisby Road and the A46 from the Teal Park Development. The units are from 2,600 sq. ft. to 7,500 sq. ft. and in total there will be almost 27,000 sq. ft. of business accommodation built within the development.

Adrian Bower from Taylor Lindsey commented: “We are pleased to have construction underway and will have the units finished for occupation early next year. The design is modern and of high specification incorporating aspects such as a curved roof, wide service yard and high eaves, features which many businesses’ require.”

A letting of Block A has already been secured to Brammer, the UK’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products. Brammer is relocating from Newark Road Industrial Estate, Lincoln into larger premises to support its expanding business in the East Midlands region, and the new facility will house both Brammer and Buck & Hickman, a leading distributor of tools, maintenance and health & safety products.

Caroline Nash, Managing Director of Strategic Contracts at Brammer and Buck & Hickman explained: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to move to new and larger premises on this exciting development in response to ongoing growth from our locally based customers, having operated from our existing Lincoln unit since April 1984. The new facility gives us the opportunity to launch a Buck & Hickman branch in the area for the first time, giving new and existing customers access to a much wider range of essential products.”

Senior Partner from Hodgson Elkington, Sam Elkington commented: “This scheme is the first medium sized speculative industrial development to be started around Lincoln for a number of years which is testimony to the confidence shown in Teal Park and Lincoln as a whole.”
